MartinLogan and AVAD Sign Distribution Agreement

AVAD LLC, North America’s leading distributor of custom home electronics, announced that the company has entered into a distribution agreement with MartinLogan, the world leader in high-performance electrostatic loudspeaker technology.

The MartinLogan line offers custom installation professionals a high-quality audio solution for virtually any application, ranging from multi-room audio, 5.1 theater systems or simple 2-channel system. AVAD will distribute the following MartinLogan lines to authorized dealers at each of its 38 North American locations:

  • Select models from the ESL Series, MartinLogan’s most sophisticated engineering and design;
  • Design Series, a line aimed at not sacrificing sound quality for size and affordability; and
  • Custom Installation, designed to provide MartinLogan sound solution for every application;

“MartinLogan lives up to its name as one of the great American loudspeaker companies because of its passion in quality control and by-hand assembly,” said Rick Wigen, vice president of merchandising for AVAD. “We’re happy to offer it as part of our home audio selection.”

By partnering with AVAD, MartinLogan will have access to AVAD’s extensive network of over 10,000 dealers, enabling the company to broaden its reach within the custom installation market. AVAD will also provide MartinLogan dealers with the best and most frequent training, technical and application support, as well as next day delivery for more responsive customer service, improved turns and higher profits.

“MartinLogan is excited to be working with the nation’s leading custom install distributor,” says Dean Tassio, MartinLogan senior vice president of sales and marketing. “We will be working closely with them to augment our current distribution and expand into regions that have traditionally lacked access to the MartinLogan experience.”

Dealers must be authorized to be an AVAD MartinLogan Dealer and are encouraged to contact their local AVAD branch for details on how to become approved.
