PORTLAND, OR, Mar. 22, 2005 — J. B. Stanton Communications: NY/CT/LA, has been named the Public Relations agency for Lumagen, Inc., a specialist in the design and manufacture of products for the Home Theater market.
Based in Beaverton, Oregon, just outside Portland, Lumagen designs, manufacturers and markets innovative, high-quality video processors and scalers. Its Lumagen Vision family of video processors, in particular, provides significant visual enhancement for Home Theaters limited by the inadequate deinterlacing and scaling capabilities built into many HDTVs and projectors. Lumagen processors deliver the video switching, deinterlacing, scaling and calibration functions and quality necessary for creating exceptional high-definition Home Theaters and viewing experiences.
“We’re pleased to be working with J.B. Stanton Communications,” said Jim Peterson, Lumagen President and Chief Technical Officer. “Our Vision series products help installers achieve the leading edge of Home Theater performance. As we introduce new products, it will become increasingly important to seek a fuller awareness among our customers of our products’ unique capabilities and value.”
Lumagen Vision series components include the VisionPro HDP, ideal for custom-installed, high-end Home theaters; the VisionHDP, perfectly suited for front projectors and top-level plasma displays; and the VisionDVI, which significantly refines the images presented by plasma monitors, rear-screen TVs and other big-screen displays.
Flexible and versatile, Vision Series processors provide the features essential to delivering a truly exceptional Home Theater experience, including video switching, per-pixel motion-adaptive deinterlacing, and fully programmable video scaling. They achieve this while setting new standards in value, providing the performance and features of processors costing far more at suggested prices of $2,499 for the VisionPro HDP, $1,499 for the vision HDP, and $999 for the VisionDVI.
Vision family components support progressive output resolutions up to 1080p, and share the same high-quality TV decoding, deinterlacing, and scaling. Distinctions among the three models lie principally in the number of inputs, maximum output resolution, cabinet styling, video connectors, and control options with which each is equipped.
“We’re pleased Lumagen has selected us to represent it to the media,” said Bryan Stanton, president of J.B. Stanton Communications. “Lumagen’s high-performance products give us an opportunity to educate consumers and the professional installation trades about the expanding solutions available for high-quality Home Theaters and entertainment systems.”
Now in its 28th year of specializing in electronics products and technologies, J. B. Stanton Communications is pleased to represent Lumagen to the Home Theater, Custom Installation, Consumer, and Professional marketplaces.
