LG Electronics is best known for its OLED TVs—and to a lesser extent, its soundbars—but another standout in their lineup is the xboom wireless portable speaker series. For 2025, LG is adding a little “abracadabra” to the boom.
Will.I.Am
LG has teamed up with will.i.am—the musician, tech entrepreneur, and driving force behind the Black Eyed Peas—to professionally tune its new xboom series of Bluetooth speakers and wireless earbuds: Grab, Bounce, Stage 301, and Buds. The result? A more balanced audio profile tailored for everyday listeners.
The LG xboom Bounce, Grab, and Stage 301 feature built-in AI that enhances the listening experience by analyzing content and adjusting sound based on melody, rhythm, and vocals. AI Lighting adds visual flair, syncing multicolored bar lights to the beat, while AI Calibration fine-tunes audio based on the speaker’s surroundings for clear, powerful sound anywhere. In addition, with Bluetooth LE Audio Auracast built-in users can connect multiple xboom units for synchronized, immersive playback.
For the first time, LG xboom speakers include a dedicated button for instant access to will.i.am’s RAiDiO.FYI platform. This feature delivers personalized infotainment curated by an AI-powered radio host. RAiDiO.FYI is set to launch later this year, with more details to be announced closer to its release.
The Bounce
The XBOOM Bounce is a portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers elevated sound quality with up-firing passive radiators, dual dome tweeters, and a track-type woofer. Designed for stereo sound with precise highs and an expanded soundstage, the Bounce surrounds listeners with enhanced clarity and depth. Its name comes from the up-firing radiators, which visibly bounce in sync with the beat. Featuring a practical strap for easy handling or hanging, an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, and passing 7 military standard tests, the XBOOM Bounce also boasts a robust battery that lasts up to 30 hours.
The Grab
The xboom Grab is designed for on-the-go audio, combining powerful sound with a compact, travel-friendly design. Despite its slim profile, the Grab features dual passive radiators on both sides for dynamic bass and vibrant sound. True to its name, the Grab is easy to hold in one hand and can be placed in various orientations—standing upright, lying on its side, or nestled in a car cup holder, camping chair, or bicycle water bottle cage.
It also includes versatile straps for securing to arms or hooks. With an IP67 water and dust resistance rating and up to 20 hours of battery life, the Grab is ready for any adventure.
Stage 301
With its larger size, the xboom Stage 301 is perfect for turning any space into a stage. Whether for busking, karaoke, or events, this speaker delivers powerful sound for larger areas. Its 6.5-inch woofer and dual 2.5-inch midrange drivers produce rich, full-bodied audio with impressive punch. The Stage 301 features a built-in handle for easy transport and a versatile wedge design, allowing for flexible positioning—flat, tilted, or mounted on a tripod. LG turns up the coolness factor on its latest xboom portable audio products thanks to will.i.am’s tuning and endorsement.
