The just released LG Watch Urbane Luxe is a premium limited edition gold smartwatch powered by the latest version of Android Wear, which seamlessly connects with Android smartphones running Android 4.3 and above, such as the all-new LG V10 – as well as iOS. However, LG is strangely also releasing a 2nd-generation, more feature packed, LG Watch Urbane without the gold finish.
A first among watches, the LG Watch Urbane Luxe is a collaboration between LG Electronics and REEDS Jewelers, combining handcrafted luxury with industry leading technology. The LG Watch Urbane Luxe is adorned in 23-karat gold heavy plate and a gorgeous handmade alligator leather band, and comes presented in an exclusive piano-gloss lacquer case. The efforts of over 40 artisans and more than three months go in to crafting an Urbane Luxe, each of which is a unique piece engraved with its edition number and accompanied by a hand signed certificate of authenticity.
“No expense has been spared in crafting this watch, each one is truly an individual work of art,” said Alan M. Zimmer, CEO and President of REEDS Jewelers.
