Over-Sized Soundbar Speaker Matches Width of Large Flat Panel Displays Up to 120 Inches

Leon Speakers Inc., a manufacturer of custom-built, on-wall loudspeakers for flat-panel displays, today announced that it has extended its popular Leon Horizon Series with the new OS (over-sized) soundbar speakers. Custom-built to match the exact width of the largest flat panel displays, including the LG Philips 100-inch LCD, Panasonic 103-inch Plasma, Hitachi 103-inch Plasma, Samsung 102-inch Plasma, Sharp 108-inch LCD, and other large format projection screens, the Leon OS speakers are available in a variety of configurations and several audiophile-grade driver options.

Available in LCR, as well as L/R, and center-only combinations, the Leon OS series is beautifully styled and expertly crafted to match the exact finish and width of the largest flat-panel displays, up to a jaw-dropping 120 inches. The OS Series is available in a variety of audiophile-grade, full-range European drivers, ranging from three inches to six inches. Each channel features dual 4-inch Peerless HDS woofers and a Morel MDT29 or ET-338 1-inch hand-treated, cloth-dome tweeter.

“With the OS speakers we have redefined the limits of on-wall speakers once again, and have designed a beast of a loudspeaker. It’s so large that it gets fork-lifted out of our facility and on the last install, it had to be lifted by a crane through an apartment window,” said Jeff Gordon, CEO of Leon Speakers. “As a small company, you could say that the development of the OS series was driven by our Napoleon complex and by consumer demand. Ultimately, the result is a one-of-a-kind loudspeaker that is physically impressive, aesthetically pleasing, and capable of delivering an amazing theater-grade performance.”

Custom-built in only three to five business days, the OS series is available now at a starting MSRP of $6,500 each for LCR configurations.
