JVC XTREME XPLOSIVES Series Headphones

JVC HA-55x Over-ear Headphone White

For 2014 JVC will introduce white versions of their over-ear HA-M55X (pictured) and on-ear HA-S44X headphones, in addition to the black models already available. The XTREME XPLOSIVES (XX) Series headphones feature durable construction and heavy-duty Neodymium driver units, 1.57″ (40mm) for the on-ear HA-S44X, 1.97” (50mm) for the over-ear HA-M55X. The combination of the large driver units and the Extreme Deep Bass Ports gives these headphones impressive bass performance.

Th new in-ear HA-FR301 headphones feature a one-button remote and microphone compatible with iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices, as well as a Smart Switch that allows for compatibility with most other smartphones. The inline single-button remote makes it easy to play, stop and skip tracks, as well as answer phone calls. The tiny remote also houses the microphone. The HA-FR301 will be available in March in black or white.

The current HA-FR201 and HA-FX101 inner ear headphones get new packaging and will be available in white in addition to the six colors already offered: black, blue, green, red, purple and pink.

All XX headphones are designed for comfort and excellent sound isolation to keep outside sounds at bay while also preventing audio from leaking and disturbing people nearby. For comfort even during extended listening sessions, the around-ear and on-ear models feature padded headbands and soft ear pads, while inner ear models include silicone earpieces in three sizes.

Tough rubber protectors not only give the XX series headphones their distinctive looks, they also make them highly durable – the perfect sound accessories for active street use.

The cables and plugs are thick and robust and built to last. The HA-M55X-W, HA-S44X-W and HA-FR301 come with a 3.94-foot (1.2m) Y-type cable of Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) for maximum audio fidelity. All models have gold-plated 3.5mm stereo straight plugs.
