INDIANAPOLIS (January 8, 2007) — Whether it’s placed in a bedroom, office, kitchen or in a living room as a primary home music source, the new Jamo i200 iPod-compatible Speaker System stands out sonically, even though it is just five-inches tall and 15-inches wide.
The i200 is the latest iPod-compatible speaker system from Jamo that was designed by the award-winning Danish design duo–Smedegaard and Weiss–who are recognized internationally for their ability to combine technical and aesthetic qualities. The duo also designed the Jamo i300, which has won numerous awards worldwide.
True to the Jamo name and Danish heritage, the i200 utilizes carefully selected drivers coupled to sophisticated electronics for a level of performance that is unexpected in the tabletop/desktop speaker system category.
Perfect for countertops, bookshelves and anywhere else consumers want to listen without headphones, the i200’s elegant remote with simplified operation and function buttons allows control of music even from across the room. Keyholes that allow the system to mount to a wall further enhance the compact, minimalist design of the Jamo i200.
The spring-loaded i200 docking bay accepts and charges all iPods with 30-pin connectors and comes with a wide selection of inserts. Consumers with non-dockable first- and second-generation iPods and other MP3 players, such as music-ready mobile phones, connect to the i200 through the auxiliary audio input.
Consumers who want more bass response can augment the Jamo i200 through a sub-out connection, where they can connect an active subwoofer. The same connection may also be used to output audio to the JamoLink multi-room system, which transforms an ordinary iPod or MP3 player into a whole-house audio distribution system.
Available in black or white finishes the Jamo i200 iPod-compatible sound system brings high quality sound to kitchens, offices and bedrooms.
