Encodes high definition video and other popular file formats including HDV import/output along with DivX 6 AVI, MPEG-1/2/4, QuickTime (MOV), and Window Media (WMV/WMV-HD/WMA) input/output.
Gardena, CA — January 30, 2007 — TMPG, Inc. (www.tmpg-inc.com), the company that makes digital video easy, is introducing a new Spanish language version of its advanced, high-quality video encoding software: TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress. The release date is scheduled for February 14.
“Due to customer demand we have created a Spanish language version of TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress. As more sophisticated video recording equipment hits the market in the Americas the demand for more video encoding has increased exponentially. 4.0 Xpress gives both amateur and professional videographers the power to take virtually any video file and encode it to any number of today’s most popular file formats,” stated Kimi Matsuki, TMPG CEO. “This powerful software includes an array of features from frame-level cut-editing tools to advanced multiple video filtering and effects. 4.0 XPress encoding also provides mobile support for PSPs, iPods, and PDAs for on-the-go video viewing.”
Some of today’s popular file formats that TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress accepts: DivX 6 AVI, HDV camcorder, QuickTime (MOV), MPEG 1/2/4, ISO, H.264, DVD-Video, XDVD, DVD-VR, and Windows Media (WMV/WMV-HD/WMA). It also has input/output compatibility with Dolby Digital sound, Windows Media, MP3, and a wide variety of other audio programs as well as 19 powerful audio and video filters.
Among its features is the ability to automatically import multiple files. A subtitle function allows you to include text into the video, while a subtitle editor provides numerous options and settings for your text. Additionally, TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress comes with a color histogram with narrow and full-range display options, and a simple vector scope for easy color control. A color correction filter easily corrects color shifting of YUV components.
TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress allows users to create a slideshow either using on-file pictures or by utilizing separate individual video frames created from a special frame-capture function. To provide more attention- getting power, an audio track, along with a wide variety of transitions, may be added to the slideshow. High-speed thumbnail viewing and scrolling allows users to rapidly search video footage looking for specific scenes to be edited.
Other features include a split clip function, undo/redo capability, key frames for clip editing, and drag-and-drop capabilities, as well as a batch encode tool and MPEG tools.
The Spanish language version of TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress encoding software will be available for downloading at www.tmpg-inc.com beginning February 14 at a cost of $99.95 per license.
