Company’s Latest DLP Projector Enables Big Screen Image Without the Big Screen Price

InFocus Corporation (NASDAQ: INFS), the industry pioneer in digital projection technology, today announced the availability of the InFocus X9 DLP projector, its latest solution for home theater projection. With native 720p resolution, video-optimized brightness at 1800 lumens, and every connector from VGA to HDMI, the InFocus X9 delivers a theater-level experience at the very affordable price of US$1099.

Leveraging DLP BrilliantColor™ technology, the InFocus X9 displays true-to-life colors every time it’s turned on, eliminating performance degradation and filter maintenance. Choose from HDMI 1.3, component, composite, S-video or VGA to connect anything from a PC to a PlayStation and everything in between.

“Our entry-level customers will be pleased with the quality of the InFocus X9,” said Bob Jenkins of FAI Home Theater in Sterling Heights, Mich. “It provides an excellent large screen image even with the room lights on.”

“The InFocus X9 is the perfect choice for the buyer looking for a value-priced alternative to our award-winning IN80 series,” commented Benjamin Joy, Director, Product Marketing for InFocus. “Now anyone can enjoy watching sports or entertainment in a stunning 100-inch image.”
