WOODBURY, NY — At CES 2007, Infinity is showcasing its expanded Total Solutions lineup of elegantly styled, high-performance home theater loudspeakers and systems, including its new TSS 3-in-1 integrated left-center-right (LCR)loudspeaker. The TSS 3-in-1 combines the left, center and right front speakers of a home theater system in a single enclosure that’s slim in design, yet delivers expansive multichannel sound.
The TSS-1200, TSS-800 and TSS-500 home theater loudspeaker systems are also on exhibit, all of which combine striking appearance with superlative performance and versatile installation options. A selection of additional Total Solutions models is featured at CES in the Infinity suite at the Las Vegas Hilton, January 8 — 11, 2007.

TSS 3-in-1: Space-Saving Design and Exceptional Multichannel Sound
The Infinity TSS 3-in-1 enables a host of installation options. It may be wall-mounted using its included swivel-wall-mount bracket, making it ideal for placement above or below flat-panel LCDs or plasma displays, or above a TV set or entertainment center furniture. The TSS 3-in-1 is also supplied with a support cradle that enables it to be placed on a shelf.
The drivers used in the TSS 3-in-1 incorporate Infinity’s proven Metal Matrix Diaphragm (MMD) driver technology. MMD driver cones are manufactured by anodizing both sides of an aluminum core to a controlled thickness, producing low-mass, highly rigid driver diaphragms that operate with greatly reduced distortion, and deliver extraordinary transient response, resolution and smoothness throughout their entire frequency range. The TSS 3-in-1 features a 3/4-inch MMD tweeter and two 3-1/2-inch MMD woofers for each (left, center and right) channel.
The TSS 3-in-1 is acoustically optimized to provide outstanding imaging and dialogue localization and a seamless soundfield across a wide listening area. In common with all Infinity loudspeakers, it employs the company’s room-friendly acoustical design principles, which ensure it will provide sonically accurate performance in the widest variety of listening environments and placement positions.
Available in a choice of platinum or charcoal finish, the TSS 3-in-1 can be combined with Total Solutions surround speakers and a powered subwoofer to create a complete home theater loudspeaker package that offers exceptional installation flexibility, attractive design and superlative performance.
The Infinity Total Solutions TSS 3-in-1 loudspeaker is currently available at a suggested retail price of $679.
TSS-1200, TSS-800 and TSS-500: Stunning Appearance, Superlative Performance and Versatility
The TSS-1200, TSS-800 and TSS-500 combine striking new styling that is evocative of the company’s flagship Infinity Cascade loudspeakers with outstanding sound quality and installation flexibility.
The TSS-1200, TSS-800 and TSS-500 packages include four satellite speakers, a center channel loudspeaker and a powered subwoofer. All systems feature advanced drivers and components; the TSS-800 and TSS-1200 systems incorporate MMD driver technology to deliver exceptional fidelity and resolution.
All three systems are distinctively contemporary in appearance. The wall-mountable satellites and center channel feature top and side panels with curved and contoured surfaces, and the subwoofers have a rounded enclosure that fits easily into a room. The TSS-1200, TSS-800 and TSS-500, like all Total Solutions models, perfectly complement ultrathin rear-projection TVs and flat-panel video displays.
All the systems offer versatile installation flexibility. The satellites and center channel can be shelf- or wall-mounted, using either their supplied fixed or adjustable wall-mount brackets, and optional matching floor stands for the satellites are available.
Suggested retail pricing for the Infinity Total Solutions loudspeaker systems is as follows: TSS-1200, SRP: $1,299; TSS-800, SRP: $899; TSS-500, SRP: $549. All systems are currently available in a platinum or charcoal finish.
TSS-4000: Sleek Design and Expansive Sound Quality
Infinity’s TSS-4000 loudspeaker system components combine powerful and expansive sound with sleek design that blends with the home environment, making them ideal for larger-scale systems and rooms. Models include the TSS-SAT4000 satellite; the TSS-CENTER4000 center channel loudspeaker; and the TSS-SUB4000 12-inch, 400-watt powered subwoofer, which features Infinity’s proprietary Room Adaptive Bass Optimization System (R.A.B.O.S.).
All TSS-4000 components utilize MMD driver technology for superlative sound quality, and offer a host of installation options and system configuration choices. An optional flush-mount kit for the satellites and center channel loudspeaker enables them to be recessed into a wall for a clean, understated appearance; which makes the TSS-4000 system adaptable to an extremely broad range of architectural, designer and custom-installation applications.
The satellites are also supplied with shelf stands of three different heights, enabling the satellites to be placed level with virtually any rear-projection DLP television, or table-top flat-panel LCD or plasma TV, to create a unified, integrated appearance in home entertainment systems based around large-screen video displays. The center channel speaker includes a base for placement on top of or below a TV set or on a shelf. The magnetically shielded satellites and center channel are also supplied with swivel-bracket mounts.
For added flexibility, TSS-4000 components can also be matched with other Total Solutions loudspeakers; for example, a pair of compact TSS-SAT750 satellites can be used as the surround channels in a TSS-4000 system along with TSS-SAT4000 and TSS-CENTER4000 loudspeakers and a complementing subwoofer.
