Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products since 1985, announced that integrations with Borg Displays and Charmed Quark Systems are now complete, and Connectivity Partnerships have been formed.
Borg Displays develops in-wall interface solutions for a variety of professional integration industries on Windows XPe and Linux platforms.
The affordable suite of Protege branded 8″ and 15″ touchcontrollers are specifically designed to run quiet, cool and fast, engaging users with networked content, third party control — security — entertainment — signage applications, or energy management on centrally located always-on sentinels.
Simply load a copy of HAI’s Snap-Link on the Borg Display and run it using the HAI Touchscreen skin.
” Borg is very pleased to be a solution partner with HAI, helping to move the industry forward with affordable and interoperability touchscreen controllers”, explains Craig Slawson, President of Borg Displays.
Charmed Quark Systems’ (CQC) product is a powerful, robust software-based automation product which leverages the home network to provide control, automation, and media management throughout the home. CQC is the perfect complement to layer over an Omni based foundation, providing very powerful graphical user interfaces, media services, internet based services, theater control, higher level logic, and more.
Charmed Quark Systems has developed a web page describing how to integrate their software with an HAI OmniPro II or Omni IIe controller that is running HAI firmware version 3.x or greater.
“Supporting HAI’s Omni system is important for us,” explains Dean Roddey, Chairman/CTO of CQC. “Many installers feel confident that the Omni plus CQC will make for a robust and high performance solution at both the hardware and software level.”
“Expanding our Connectivity Partnerships is important to HAI,” explains Jay McLellan, HAI President & CEO. “Both Borg and CQC are solid product offerings whose connectivity HAI is proud to promote.”
