Columbus, OH — July 14, 2006 — Exceptional Innovation (EI) today announced 2006 dates for Level One and Level Two Life|ware Certification Training. The Life|ware Certification Calendar includes Level 1 trainings at various locations around the United States and Level 2 training at EI’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. There are three levels of certification: Level 1 is a one-day course providing Life|ware basics, Level 2 is a two-day course providing hands-on experience, and Level 3 is a multiple-day course designed for the technical integrator to address technical questions. Level 3 training dates are being developed and will be announced shortly. Interested dealers may visit the Exceptional Innovation Training Website to sign up for more information.

Level 1 Life|ware Certification is designed for convenience. The course, modeled for the home technology integrator, certifies the integrator to sell Life|ware. This course focuses on Life|ware functionality, configuration as well as sales and business cases. It is structured primarily as an instructor lead demonstration and is the most basic course required to become a Life|ware dealer.

Level 2 Certification is for home integration professionals. The course provides an in-depth learning experience of the Life|ware solution. Course exercises include optimization of Microsoft Media Center, installation and configuration on Life|ware with a variety of different home automation hardware platforms, and media sharing. Structured as both instructor lead and hands on experience, this course is for existing dealers who want a more in-depth review of the Life|ware solution and for individuals seeking Life|ware certification to become a dealer.

Unlike other home automation solutions that tie the homeowner into a single-branded, proprietary solution, Life|ware by Exceptional Innovation is hardware-neutral giving you more choices and flexibility with seamless integration with Windows Media Center. Life|ware can be run on a Media Center PC, digital entertainment center, Media Center extender or EI’s own Life|touch all-digital high definition touch panel. Not only does Exceptional Innovation offer the most renowned home automation solution, their state-of-the-art training programs, which encompasses three levels of certification and ability, assure that all dealers are provided the necessary tools to work with the Life|ware solution.
