Ematic just released a $99, 7-inch Android 4.2 Jelly Bean tablet, model EGQ307. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with dedicated GPU, and HD 1024×600 (169 ppi) capacitive multi-touch screen. The device includes the 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and 5GB of included cloud storage anytime, anywhere. Plus, a MicroSD card slot allows an additional 32GB of storage.
For wireless connectivity, the EGQ307 supports 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. It also has a micro-USB 2.0 port and a mini-HDMI port for mirroring your tablet screen on a large HDTV screen. A front-facing 0.3MP VGA webcam enables video chatting with friends and family.
The EGQ307 comes with Google Play so you can access more than one million apps and games with plenty of options for TV shows, magazines, books and more. Gmail, Google Maps, Google Now and YouTube come pre-installed.
