Electronic House Magazine Names ELAN’s VIA!Valet6.4 As One of Its 2005 Products of the Year
Leading Consumer Magazine Focusing on all Aspects of the Connected Home Recognizes New VIA!Valet as One of the Year’s Best Product Introductions

ELAN’s VIA!Valet6.4 takes all of the tried-and-true features of ELAN’s multi-award-winning VIA! color LCD Touch Panel and delivers them in a sleek, new body design. This remarkably flexible model is ideal for a desk, countertop, under-cabinet mounting, and for in-home applications where pivoting touch panel control is desired. The new VIA!Valet6.4’s design allows the screen to easily rotate and swivel up under a cabinet or fold and lay completely flat against its base on table tops when not in use, saving space.
The VIA!Valet6.4 offers ELAN’s consistent intuitive control for all installed compatible A/V, lighting, temperature, and security devices. As with all VIA! panels, it also doubles as a video monitor that provides users with the ability to view satellite and cable TV as well as monitor security cameras located in and around the home. For added convenience, this new model swivels 180 degrees back to front and 270 degrees right to left, while continuing to offer all the same feature sets of the existing VIA!6.4 model, and uses the same programming methods through ELAN’s VIA! TOOLS software.
