ELAN’s THP800C In-Ceiling Loudspeakers feature a revolutionary, patent-pending design which sets a new benchmark for pivoting home theater speakers, and is one of 8 models in the company’s TheaterPoint line. THP800C speakers optimize the wide dispersion properties of low frequencies while simultaneously steering the more-directional midrange and high frequencies into the listening area in a true time-aligned manner. The unique 3-way design, when steered into the listening area, creates an amazing sonic experience which appears to come from directly in front of the listener instead of from the ceiling.
