Edifier Neodots True Wireless Earbuds with Charging Case Black

Edifier has earned a reputation for making speakers at very reasonable price points, but they also offer an extensive line of earbuds. The NeoDots True Wireless Stereo earbuds are the latest entry featuring a hybrid driver unit combined with a digital signal processor for optimum sound quality.

Let’s dig a little deeper to see if the NeoDots might be the right solution for you.

Hybrid Driver Units

The core of the NeoDots is their Hyper Drivers. Hybrid Driver Units (Balanced Armature and 10mm dynamic drivers) combine with digital signal processing and an active crossover to deliver sound output with high resolution and low distortion and extend the noise cancellation depth to -48dB.

The combination of dynamic drivers and balanced armature drivers supports a wide frequency response. The dynamic drivers manage low frequencies, whilst the balanced armature drivers handle mid and high frequencies.

This synergy results in a well-rounded sound profile that enhances the listening experience across different music genres and audio content.

Digital Signal Processor (DSP)

To take full advantage of the Edifier’s Hype Driver technology, a digital signal processor (DSP) is included. This supports enhanced audio quality by optimizing balance and clarity, while the active crossover divides audio signals sending low frequencies to the dynamic driver and mid/high frequencies to the balanced armature (BA) driver. This dual-driver arrangement supports improved sound quality, offering improved clarity, and detail.

Hi-Res Audio

Edifier claims that the NeoDots have Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, as well as providing support for LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs. This enables a versatile and accurate listening experience across various devices.

Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation

Along with optimized sound quality, the NeoDots also incorporate advanced noise-canceling technology. This elevates the listening experience by extending the depth of noise cancellation to -48dB, minimizing unwanted ambient sounds.

With multiple noise cancellation modes available, the earbuds can adapt to different environments, ensuring optimal audio clarity whether you’re in a busy, noisy city, or a quiet home environment.

Edifier Neodots True Wireless Earbuds have 6 microphones

Crystal Clear Calls

In addition to music listening, the Edifier NeoDots are designed to support clear phone interaction. With 6 microphones (3 in each earbud) and AI algorithms, the mics are focused on the human voice, while filtering out background noise. This results in clearer and more accurate audio during hands-free calls, ensuring that conversations are easily intelligible even in noisy environments.

Bluetooth v5.4

Bluetooth V5.4 support enhances seamless audio streaming with a stable connection and a multipoint connection enables users to switch between music, videos, and calls on two devices simultaneously. This makes it more convenient for multitasking and enhancing the overall user experience.
