Today, Devialet announced the arrival of Devialet Gemini II – its second-generation true wireless earbuds, with a smaller, more ergonomic design, enhanced connectivity, and adaptive noise cancellation.
Following the original Gemini earbuds, Devialet’s new 2nd generation models arrive in three styles. Matte Black and Iconic White models debut at £349 / $449 USD, while a glitzy Opéra de Paris edition hits the market at £549 / $649 USD. All styles sound and function the same.
What’s new?
Improvements in Devialet Gemini II include “best-in-class” Devialet Adaptive Noise Cancellation combined with AWR (Active Wind Reduction). In conjunction, Devialet promises a significant gain in noise cancellation, especially at higher frequencies. Furthermore its wind detection algorithms smartly control noise cancellation and transparency intensity according to the surrounding environment.
Devialet also combines AWR with re-engineered voice call architecture for cleaner phone conversations. Thanks to the new bone conduction-sensor with beamforming microphones and anti-wind tech, the company says every phone call sounds clear and smooth.
Connectivity and Battery Life
Devialet Gemini II is IPX4 water resistance. New touch control customizations are available in-app and Bluetooth 5.2 multipoint allows two device connections simultaneously.
Owners can expect 5 hours of battery life on a single charge and 22 hours with the charging case.
