D-BOX TECHNOLOGIES INC. TAKES TOP HONORS IN 2005
Longueuil, Quebec, Canada — December 1, 2005 — At CES 2005, D-BOX Technologies, Inc. (TSXV : DBO.A) launched their line of Quest integrated motion simulation seating. Designed to be an affordable alternative to their award winning Odyssee motion simulator products, Quest integrates either a 2 or 3 axis motion simulator system into an exquisitely designed reclining theater chair or loveseat for the ultimate home theater experience.
D-BOX has achieved massive acclaim for their Quest products in 2005. In November, the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show announced the D-BOX Quest X3ME as not only a 2006 Design and Engineering Award Honoree but also as “Best of Innovations” for the furniture category. Judges poured over more than 1,000 entries from more than 160 companies to choose D-BOX for this honor. Quest X3ME will be on display at the 2006 CES show at the all new Innovations Plus at the Sands. The Innovations Design and Engineering Award is based upon descriptive materials submitted to the judges. CEA did not verify the accuracy of any submission or of any claims made and did not test the item to which the award was given.
Top-ranked web publication Audio Video Revolution chose the Quest line as one of their “Top 100 Products” of 2005. The site maintains a listing of thousands of product reviews and receives press releases from every manufacturer in the CE industry. AVRev.com’s publisher, Jerry Del Colliano, said “What an E-Ticket ride! The Quest system was an easy inclusion to an exclusive list of the top 100 products in all of home theater.”
EH Publishing’s TechLiving published their “Hot List” for 2005 with D-BOX featured. TechLiving is a magazine created to helps consumers deal with an increasingly complex electronic lifestyle. The Quest line of seating — a plug-and-play product that works with standard issue DVDs and DVD players — is an obvious choice as a product that offers ease of use with an incredible difference in your movie viewing experience! Similarly, men’s magazine Cargo published a “Hot List” for 2005 in April and also included D-BOX’s Quest integrated motion simulation seating.
“The success of the Quest line is reflected in the numerous awards and accolades that have come our way in 2005” said Claude McMaster, CEO of D-BOX Technologies, Inc. “We’re committed to providing the most immersive home theater experience possible, and the recognition that we’ve received for our innovative technologies supports our theory that our products make movie watching in a home setting more exciting than ever before!”
