Santa Barbara County, CA., December 21, 2005 — About.com’s home theater guide Robert Silva has released his annual “Top 10 Home Theater Products” list, with Crowson Technology’s TES 100 fronting the list. This announcement comes after a successful year for Crowson, which included their first showing at the CEDIA Home Entertainment Expo.
About.com, owned by the New York Times Company, looks to their resident home theater enthusiast to “pick items from a broad range of product classes and prices that provide a good value for the consumer” for his annual “Top 10” list. Regarding Crowson, the editor writes, “If a subwoofer doesn’t provide enough “kick” for you, then add more fun to your home theater with the Crowson Technology TES-100 Tactile Transducer. Although subwoofers bring realistic bass sound to the home theater environment, there is still something missing – tactile sensation. The combination of the TES100 Transducer and A200 Amplifier enables one to turn his/her own chair into a home theater component that adds the sensory experience of touch to your viewing and listening enjoyment” (About.com).
Crowson’s exposure has increased in 2005 through reviews such as Silva’s as well as showings at several of the top home entertainment trade shows, such as CES, CEDIA and EHX. In 2006, Crowson Technology will once again return to CES and will offer demonstrations by appointment only at the Alexis Park Resort. Appointments may be made for January 5-8 by calling Crowson EVP John Yi at (805) 962-9004.
