ROCKLEIGH, NJ, October 22, 2008 — Crestron Electronics was honored in two separate categories at the 2008 Archi-Tech Readers’ Choice Awards ceremony held recently in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Crestron CHV-TSTAT and the iLux CLS-C6M integrated lighting and shade control system were both recognized by industry peers, including architects, system designers, programmers and installers. The award winners were determined by an online poll of readers who voted for their favorite technology products of the year.
Crestron won in the HVAC category for the Crestron CHV-TSTAT heating and cooling thermostat. The CHV-TSTAT is a versatile heating and cooling thermostat for one- and two-stage control of forced air, radiant and heat pump HVAC systems.
Although functional as a standalone thermostat, the CHV-TSTAT delivers greatly enhanced functionality as part of a complete Crestron home automation system.
Crestron was recognized a second time in the Lighting Category for its Crestron iLux CLS-C6M integrated lighting and shade control system, a complete integrated lighting system designed for wall-mount installation in boardrooms, auditoriums, home theaters or anywhere versatile and cost-effective control of lighting and shades is required.
