Cleer announced the world’s first dual driver Bluetooth headphones called the DU Wireless. These new over-ear earphones are the wireless version of the DU (wired) model, which retail for $129.99 at Amazon.com. Both use two 40mm neodymium-drivers — one for high and one for low frequencies. This combination is said to dramatically improve overall sound quality and detail. Such a feature is common for wired studio headphones, but not wireless.
DU Wireless includes AAC/AptX Ver. 4.0 wireless and easy NFC Bluetooth pairing. Battery life is claimed to provide 20 hours of music listening, thanks to a built-in quick-charge rechargeable lithium battery. An LED indicator shows remaining battery capacity. But the headphones will also work with a wired connection, even if the battery is dead or you just want to bypass wireless.
The DU’s modern and foldable design includes a logo and high quality aluminum housing, which not only look good but also extremely lightweight. The soft leather changeable ear pad and headband are made of an eco-friendly artificial protein with the same look, feel and comfort of real leather. This design, along with its innovative technology, has earned it a TNT TOP NEW TECHNOLOGY AWARD 2016 in the accessories category at ISE 2016.
Cleer says DU Wireless will deliver the true bass and powerful performance at low and high volume levels so that you can enjoy consistent sound regardless of volume setting.
