Continued Growth Forecast as ARS Helps Propel Increase in Home Theater Installations and Expansion into High-End Commercial Projects

ADDISON, TEXAS, August 10, 2006 — CinemaTechTM, manufacturer of the industry’s finest luxury Home Theater seating, announces it has experienced significant growth in its Acoustic Room Systems (ARS) division over the past 12 months, and forecasts a doubling of Home Theater installations in the coming year.

CinemaTech merged in mid-2005 with ARS, a specialist in the design and installation of superior acoustic room treatment systems for Home Theaters. It has seen an extraordinary growth in ARS’ business in the months since. As a result, CinemaTech has been able to expand into more ambitious and challenging projects, ranging from fully equipped conference and executive boardrooms to precision showrooms for other high-end luxury Home Theater equipment manufacturers.
For example, Both Wilson Audio and James Loudspeaker, makers of some of the industry’s finest audio equipment, have selected CinemaTech to install an ARS system in each of their showrooms. CinemaTech is also currently in negotiations with additional high-end speaker, projector and film-screen manufacturers to provide both seating and ARS systems.

“This is an exciting time at CinemaTech. We are now able to provide a larger, more comprehensive product offering of the finest high-end Home Theater products on the market,” said CinemaTech President and owner Michael Murphy. “And the response from CinemaTech’s authorized dealer network has been phenomenal.”

By expanding its existing high-performance product line through the merger with ARS, CinemaTech is now able to offer a complete solution for high-end Home Theater environments. “The greater range of outstanding theater products has allowed our dealers to earn significantly more revenue while providing performance products that competitors simply cannot supply,” said Murphy.

CinemaTech’s ARS system is also used by Billboard-chart musicians and box office production companies, as there’s always a need in the music business for acoustically accurate environments. CinemaTech’s ARS division is also consistently chosen by home AV enthusiasts who know how vital superior room acoustics are to their enjoyment of music, whether on CDs, DVDs, or live. When acoustic clarity and accuracy really matter, companies and individuals are more often turning to CinemaTech.

With its broad line of ARS products, CinemaTech can customize and install a corrected acoustical environment that eliminates distracting noises and allows the articulation and intelligibility of recorded audio to be as clean, crisp and balanced as its producers intended. In fact, CinemaTech’s ARS is the only system that gives attenuation as low as 80Hz, while using a mere 1.25-inch profile. In addition to providing exceptional acoustical performance quality in beautiful environments, CinemaTech allows its customers to choose from among hundreds of acoustic and fire-tested fabrics.

Unlike other acoustical product providers, CinemaTech’s ARS system is tailored specifically to each Home Theater and listening room. Because the process is much more than simply placing wall panels placed onto walls, clients can always be assured that they’re getting a room treatment tuned specifically for their needs and rooms.

All ARS acoustical materials are cut on site by certified CinemaTech installers to ensure the tightest, most accurate fit. Whether a client’s equipment investment is modest or large, professionally engineered acoustical treatment will dramatically enhance the listening experience.

“We appreciate the attributes and intricacies that make our products and services the industry’s gold standard,” said Michael Murphy. “Ease of partnership and superior products are why we enjoy extremely long, mutually beneficial relationships with our Authorized Dealers and why they have repeat CinemaTech clients year after year. Our quest for perfection is unending.”
