Renowned cable maker Chord Company is offering up Epic Digital Tuned ARAY interconnects. This new premium cables introduce the benefits of Chord’s proprietary Tuned ARAY coaxial conductor geometry to an increasingly digital AV world.
Hand built in England, the Epic Digital Tuned ARAY interconnect is the latest addition to Chord Company’s premium-tier Epic range, which sits in the middle of its product offerings.
This interconnect is designed to enhance digital audio connection quality between streamers, CD players, transports, and other connection compatible AV devices by way of Chord Company’s e-Tuned ARAY mechanical tuning system for enhanced performance.
The Epic Digital Tuned ARAY interconnect incorporates Chord Company’s VEE3 plugs finished with a ChorAlloy multi-metal plating system. This is designed to provide a significant musical reproduction improvement over previous silver-plating techniques, offering much lower intermodulation, and is tarnish-free, RoHS-compliant, and solderable.
Structured around two high-quality 75-ohm silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors with PTFE insulation, the cable benefits from a high-density, silver-plated combination braid and foil shield, offering effective protection from high-frequency interference.
