Following the recent releases of its EpicX ARAY and ShawlineX ARAY interconnect cable lines, the Chord Company has released its ClearwayX RCA analog interconnect with XLPE (Cross-linked Polythene) insulation.
EIC Ian White was incredibly impressed with the new ShawlineX ARAY which he just reviewed earlier this month and felt that they offered excellent performance for the money.
Chord Company has dramatically lowered the ownership cost of XLPE-technology interconnects, with the launch of the new ClearwayX ARAY Analogue RCA.
This new cable incorporates the Chord Company’s advanced XLPE insulation which up until this point has been reserved for its higher-end cables. With its lower price point, a wider customer base can get the benefits of this technology.
In addition to XPLE, the ClearwayX ARAY Analogue RCA interconnect also also includes the latest enhanced ARAY geometry, shielding systems, and factory technologies.
ClearwayX ARAY Analogue RCA also improves on its multi-award-winning predecessor, already a What Hi-Fi? ‘Best interconnect’ for six successive years (2017-2022).
Despite the low cost, the ClearwayX ARAY Analogue RCA is handmade in the Wiltshire factory and offers outstanding value for money.
The cable also benefits from Chord Company’s proprietary ChorAlloy™-plated Chord VEE3 RCA connectors and is available in a variety of useful lengths, with custom runs and terminations to order, including DIN and XLR.
The ClearwayX ARAY Analogue RCA’s achievable price point versatility across a wide range of AV systems and components.
Price and Availability
ClearwayX ARAY Analogue RCA is priced from £105 (0.5 per meter)/£130 (for 1 meter) and is available now with custom lengths and terminations to order through Authorized Chord Company Dealers.
Note: Chord Company (cable maker) and Chord Electronics (high-end audio component maker) are separate companies.
