Dallas, TX March 16, 2006 — CONNECTIONS today announced that Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), will present the Luncheon Keynote at CONNECTIONS: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase on May 3, 2006.

CONNECTIONS: The Digital Home Conference and Showcase, produced by Parks Associates in partnership with CEA, is the largest executive conference and showcase dedicated to advanced digital lifestyle solutions for residential and mobile environments. In its 10th year, CONNECTIONS will be held from May 2-4, 2006 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.

Mr. Shapiro’s keynote, “Digital Technology, Content & Consumers — Connecting the Dots,” will explore recent technology and content company partnerships and their impact on the debate concerning consumers’ home recording and fair-use rights versus the content community’s intellectual property rights.

“We are pleased to have Gary Shapiro present our Luncheon Keynote,” says Tricia Parks, CEO, Parks Associates. “The issue of digital rights is truly significant and Mr. Shapiro brings his expertise to explain these issues and address the ways in which the industry can move forward with further benefits for all.”
