Cell phones and netbooks are the darlings of gadget blogs but car DVD players are the things that are going to keep eBay resellers’ heads above water this year.
Retail lobbyist group the Consumer Electronics Association expected strong growth in the car DVD market with consumers expected to spend $419 million.
Rose Li, PR Manager for China wholesale dropship supplier, Chinavasion says that the high mental price consumers put on car DVD players and the bargain basement prices of China wholesale car DVD players and the lesser competition for customers in the market means they are perfect for eBay resellers to dropship in 2009.
“Car DVD players become even more profitable for eBay resellers when they are dropshipped,” according to Rose Li. “When the need to have money tied up inventory are removed the possibilities for business expansion are huge.”
When an eBay reseller or online vendor uses a dropshipper they list the item for sale but don’t actually pay for the item until somebody has bought it from them.
The wholesale dropshipper then sends the item directly to the reseller’s customer without any advertising material which would allow the customer to work out where the goods have come from.
However, eBay resellers needed to make sure they had a China dropshipper that had great customer service, a good returns policy and a stringent QC process according to Rose Li.
“Chinavasion is so sure of its stringent QC policy that it offers a 12 month warranty on all of its products, including its car DVD players,” according to Rose Li.
“To make matters even easier Chinavasion’s customer service staff is professional, friendly and specially trained in handling dropshipping issues.”
