The new high-performance Canon LV-7585 Multimedia Projector, designed for the installation market, is a large-venue model engineered for use in lecture halls, college auditoriums, houses of worship, museums, indoor shopping centers, corporate office lobbies and similar environments. The Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector, meanwhile, is Canon’s brightest, compact portable model, which is designed for teachers, businesspeople and other professionals needing the advantages of powerful yet affordable presentation features while being simple, convenient to operate and lightweight.
“These two new Canon LCD projectors incorporate the latest advanced features, all of which are engineered to benefit specific categories of user needs,” said Yuichi Ishizuka, senior vice president and general manager, Consumer Imaging Group at Canon U.S.A.”Beginning with a unique design and innovative technology that goes beyond outstanding optics, these two new projectors allow Canon to meet and exceed the requirements of LCD projector installers and portable LCD projector users.”
The LV-7585 Multimedia Projector
Featuring many innovations for installers and users in ceiling-mount configurations, Canon’s new LV-7585 Multimedia Projector has a bold new design in which the lens is centered on the front panel of the projector for ease of projector placement during installation. The Canon LV-7585 Multimedia Projector also features a side-loading, easy access replacement lamp and a revolutionary auto-winding filter system, which automatically winds the filter element forward to expose a new, clean section of filter The filter can also be advanced manually using the remote control. In addition, an easy-maintenance design makes removal of the projector’s top cabinet (for panel cleaning and maintenance of optical parts) unnecessary. All of these features make installation easier and maintenance simpler, especially if the projector is in an inaccessible location.
The large-venue Canon LV-7585 Multimedia Projector provides users and installers with the flexibility of using its standard 1.3x Genuine Canon Optical zoom lens with Power Lens Shift (horizontal and vertical) or any one of four optional high-quality Genuine Canon interchangeable lenses, including an Ultra Wide Angle, Wide Angle Zoom, Long Focus Zoom or Ultra Long Focus Zoom. Images can be projected from 3l inches to 400 inches (measured diagonally). The optional LV-NI02 Network Imager enables users to send presentations to the Canon LV-7585 Multimedia Projector via the network while allowing for a variety of network control, monitoring, and image-projection functions.
The Canon LV-7585 Multimedia Projector is scheduled be available in mid-November at a manufacturer’s suggested list price of $9,999.00*.
The LV-7365 Multimedia Projector
The advantages of Genuine Canon Optics, in the form of the new Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector’s advanced 1.6x projection zoom lens, provide many user benefits. Chief among these is the Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector’s short throw distance, which provides flexibility in projector placement and enables teachers, lecturers, and business professionals to display large images in classrooms, conference rooms, and other moderately sized presentation environments. The Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector can display a full 100-inch picture (measured diagonally) from only 9.2 feet away. Another benefit of the Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector’s Genuine Canon Optics are the new multi-layer coatings on its 1.6x projection zoom lens, which minimize internal reflection, flare and ghosting while also increasing contrast. Outputting a full 3000 ANSI Lumens with a contrast ratio of 500:1, the Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector displays bright, crisp, full-color images for maximum presentation impact.
Further enhancing the quality of the pictures from the Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector projects is its DVI-I interface, which provides an all-digital connection between the projector and digital input sources, such as DVD players and PC’s. The DVI-I interface maintains high signal integrity and avoids the signal-conversion step required by an analog RGB interface. The DVI-I interface provides a clearer picture with no flickering, blurred lines, ghost images or coloration artifacts with text display, an important benefit when projecting spread sheets, technical diagrams or Web pages.
In addition to its DVI-I interface, the Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector includes other advanced features usually found only on high-end models. These user-friendly innovations are designed to assist teachers, business professionals, and others for whom presentations are not a primary occupation. Innovations include 5W Built-in Speakers, Quick Start/Quick Cooling, Enhanced Wall Color Correction, Flexible Image Settings, and an advanced (but simple-to-use) onscreen Control Panel, which is adjustable using buttons on the top of the Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector or with a wireless remote with matching icons.
Weighing only 7.3 lbs., the new Canon LV-7365 Multimedia Projector is a compact, highly portable, fully featured presentation solution. It is scheduled to be available in mid-November at a manufacturer’s suggested list price of $1,499.00*.
