Beats Electronics today announced the new Studio Wireless, which offers the same features and functionality of the Studio (wired headphones) including Adaptive Noise Cancelation, a rechargeable battery, and re-engineered sound via the Beats Acoustic Engine, all without the cord. Take phone calls, skip songs, and change the volume right from the “b” button and volume buttons on the ear cup. The Bluetooth connection allows for up to 12 hours of music listening or up to 20 hours when plugged into an audio device.
These headphone were designed with signature DSP software to generate the emotional experience that some of the music industry’s greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic, and R&B producers want you to feel.
To prevent wasting energy, the Auto On/Off feature turns the headphone off when you unplug from a wired connection and with the Battery Fuel Gauge, you always know how much juice is left. It can be charged via micro USB almost anywhere.
Price and Availability
The new Beats Studio Wireless over-ear headphones retails for $379.95 and will be widely available beginning December 2013.
