BDI announced a head-turning, colorful mobile media table, called Bink for people needing a simple, sleek and functional workspace. Designed by Mathew Weatherly, Bink’s petal-shaped top is a gently curved platform that perfectly holds a laptop, drink or snack (or all three). With a matching base that slides easily under most sofas and chairs via non-marring glides, this lightweight aluminum and steel table creates a versatile workstation wherever it goes.
Remarkably, this weatherproof table is equally at home indoors or out, so it can move easily from couch-side to poolside. With a personality all its own, Bink is available in five powder-coated finishes, including: Salt (white), Pepper (black), Tangerine (orange), Wasabi (green) and Earl (gray).
“Bink is the perfect accessory for someone who is looking for a stylish and functional mobile desk or table-top surface,” said Bill Becker, BDI’s Design Director and CEO. “Slide Bink in front of the couch, or next to your favorite arm chair, and it immediately transforms that space into a workstation. The possibilities are endless, but the outcome is always the same – a unique and sophisticated design that is fun and functional.”
Dimensions
Bink (model 1025) measures 24 inches (61cm) tall, 19.25 inches (49cm) wide and 14.75 inches (37cm) deep.
Price and Availability
The BDI Bink will be available January 2013 for $299.
