LAS VEGAS, NV June 8, 2005 — Avocent Corporation (NASDAQ: AVCT) today launched the Emerge WMS1000, a wireless media streamer. Avocent, a leader and pioneer in the IT/data center community has now migrated its proprietary technologies into the professional A/V marketplace.
