Artisons Sketch Tower Wins 2005 RESI Award at CEDIA EXPO 2005

Incline Village, NV, September 23, 2005 — Artison today announced that its Sketch Tower speaker system won the highly coveted RESI Award in the Tower or Bookshelf speaker category. The award was given out during this month’s CEDIA EXPO 2005 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

“This award is an amazing compliment to the Artison folks who have worked hard to bring the best lifestyle benefits to consumers through the Sketch Tower’s performance,” said Cary Christie, president & chief executive officer of Artison. “We are truly honored to receive this award from Residential Systems.”

Designed specifically for home theater systems of the decor-conscious where circumstances prohibit the use of in-wall speakers, the Sketch Tower system includes three front channel speakers (Left/Center/Right) which are integrated into two columns, positioned on each side of the television screen. Each of the speakers is configured with a patented and patents pending DualMono Center Channel, where the upper portion of both right and left towers house two matched dedicated speakers to reproduce the center channel―effectively placing crisp, clear dialogue in the center of the screen, rather than above or below as with a typical center channel speaker.

DualMono Center Channel was developed in response to the industry-wide dilemma of finding a place for the center channel box on the new sleek, slim DLP rear projection TVs. In keeping with Artison’s commitment to being a solutions-oriented technology manufacturer, DualMono Center Channel places all three front channels in two cabinets on either side of the display panel.

Residential Systems is the custom installer’s most highly regarded publication. Selection criteria included excellence in aesthetic appeal, ergonomic design, and installability. Winners were announced at the RESI Awards ceremony during CEDIA EXPO 2005 on September 8th.
