ArcSoft Demonstrates HD DVD Solutions at CeBIT

Hannover, Germany — March 15, 2007. ArcSoft, Inc. is demonstrating its High Definition solutions this week at CeBIT, where ArcSoft Digital Theatre 2 is featured at the HD DVD Promotion Group booth (Hall 1, Stand L59). The new player supports HD DVD playback, as well as commercial and homemade DVD movies and a variety of multimedia files on Windows XP and Windows Vista systems.

“We’re very pleased to be showcasing our high definition solutions, which are among the best performing in the industry,” said Michael Downs, ArcSoft Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “We’ve been working closely with the HD DVD Promotion Group, leading graphics chipset companies, and the major Hollywood studios to ensure that we can effectively provide the complete spectrum of HD DVD functionality to our customers.”

“Our exhibition and press events at CeBIT help promote high quality, standards-based implementations of high definition playback and interactivity,” said Hiroharu Sato, Vice Chairman of HD DVD Promotion Group. “We’re pleased to have ArcSoft as one of our partners and to be featuring their Digital Theatre solution.”

Available as a standalone application, Digital Theatre is also part of ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme, a software suite which contains four primary applications: Digital Theatre 2, TotalMedia Studio MV, TotalMedia Studio AV, and TotalMedia Backup & Record. The application suite provides video playback, video editing and authoring, data mastering, and backup solutions for virtually all optical media, including HD DVDs, DVDs, and CDs. The component programs are fully integrated, providing an elegant and unified home entertainment experience. OEM licensing for TotalMedia Extreme can include some or all of these primary applications.
