HARMAN Luxury Audio Group today unveiled three new additions to its ARCAM Radia Series, which originally launched last year with the ST5 Streamer, CD5 CD player and A5/A15/A25 integrated amps.
The new flagship models take everything that was already great about Radia, and make it better. The ST25 digital audio player is ARCAM’s new flagship music streamer, building on the legacy of the award-winning ST60 with a new high-resolution streaming platform.
Meanwhile, the new SA35 (which replaces the SA30) and top-of-the-line SA45 represent the next evolution of ARCAM’s acclaimed integrated amplifiers, utilizing the company’s latest fifth-generation Class G amplification to deliver no-compromise audio from single-chassis designs for a superb listening experience.
ST25 Music Streamer
ARCAM’s top-of-the-line music streamer, the ST25 maintains the distinctive style of the Radia Series while offering a host of new technologies under the hood, including the latest Hyperstream IV DAC topology from ESS and a redesigned linear toroidal transformer power supply that helps maintain lower noise levels throughout the unit. In addition, the digital audio player’s meticulously engineered layout includes a ground plane that spans the entire board, effectively wicking noise and interference away from the sensitive audio components.
Enhancing the user experience, the ST25 is equipped with a 6.5-inch high-resolution, full-color display on its front panel. The unit seamlessly connects to Wi-Fi networks via the ARCAM Radia set-up app and offers a variety of playback options, including Apple Airplay, Google Chromecast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Roon. For the ultimate listening experience with enhanced sonics, the ST25 can easily be paired with ARCAM Radia amplifiers such as the A25 through a control link.
Streaming Amps
ARCAM’s two new integrated amplifiers include the same high-resolution streaming platform as the ST25, effectively making them all-in-one streaming amplifiers. Both the SA35 and SA45 add ARCAM’s fifth-generation G Class amplification and include touchscreen controls. All that’s needed are loudspeakers for an instant hi-fi system that delivers hi-res audio.
To integrate turntables, both models are equipped with a switchable MC/MM (moving coil/moving magnet) phono stage, while HDMI ARC support simplifies cable connections and device control when connecting compatible TVs.
For wireless devices such as Bluetooth headphones, a two-way aptX Adaptive Bluetooth module ensures exceptional sound quality.
The SA35 is equipped with a 6.5-inch high-resolution display and offers 120W per channel into 8 ohms and 220W into 4 ohms, while the SA45 features an 8.8-inch high-resolution display and delivers a commanding 180W per channel into 8 ohms and 300W into 4 ohms.
Both units boast fully balanced digital and analog audio paths, redesigned power supplies, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, subwoofer outputs, and Dirac Live Room Correction. The SA35 and SA45 each come with a measurement microphone and remote control to assist with room calibration.
“The latest additions to the Radia Series are making their debut at the HIGH END audio show in Munich, and we are blown away by the overwhelming response they are receiving from both consumers and audio industry professionals,” said Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy and Planning, HARMAN Luxury Audio. “Our engineers worked tirelessly to develop the ST25, SA35, and SA45, and the results are exceptional: impeccable design, sleek aesthetics, user-friendly features, and outstanding performance. They are worthy additions to the ARCAM family, and we can’t wait for listeners to be the center of the music with these exciting new products.”
