APC AV Introduces Its Power Champions Program

DENVER — September 14, 2006 — American Power Conversion (Nasdaq: APCC) (APC), a world leader in power availability and protection solutions, today announced the launch of its APC AV Power Champions Program, a partner initiative that provides exclusive partner benefits for participating dealers. Through increased awareness and education, program members will receive the tools and services needed to make APC’s award-winning AV products part of their comprehensive product offerings for customers.

“APC identified a need in the custom AV channel for a structured program that provided dealers with improved access to the legendary reliability we are synonymous with,” said Joe Loberti, general manager of APC’s Consumer Network Solutions group. “APC AV’s Power Champions Program offers dealers essential education tools and product information that allows them to boost sales of our award-winning solutions, thus increasing their revenue opportunity.”

This is a cost-effective way to upgrade existing AV units and protect a customer’s valuable home theater investment.
