Amazon today introduced the 6-inch Kindle Touch e-reader with Wi-Fi and a new touch screen E-Ink interface for $99, all in a new lightweight design. The easy-to-use touchscreen makes it easier to turn pages, search, shop, and take notes.
Kindle Touch is lighter, smaller, eliminates battery anxiety with extra-long battery life and holds up to 3,000 books. It also includes free Amazon Cloud storage.
For 3G connectivity choose the identical looking Kindle Touch 3G for $50 more.
All Kindles have instant access to the Kindle Store with the largest selection of the most popular books people want to read. Millions of free, out-of-copyright, pre-1923 books are also available to read on Kindle devices, and Kindle customers can now borrow Kindle books from their public library.
