Use RoadTrip!+, Other Car Devices in Home with Adapter from Newer Technology, Inc.

NewerTech begins shipping $9.95 adapter that allows you to use your 12-volt powered devices via standard 120v home outlet

WOODSTOCK, Ill. (September 13, 2005) — Newer Technology, Inc., has immediately available an adapter that allows you to play your iPod at home while also charging it.

The NewerTech 120v to 12v Power Adapter is a compact device that allows you to power many standard auto accessories like the NewerTech RoadTrip! line in your home. The $9.95 adapter is available immediately and not only works with the popular RoadTrip!+ but other 12-volt car accessories, including cell phones chargers, as well.

The NewerTech RoadTrip!+ is a well-reviewed and iLounge ‘Recommended Buy’ FM transmitter/iPod charger that allows you to listen to music from your iPod via FM radio and charge your iPod battery at the same time. With the NewerTech 120v to 12v Power Adapter, you can get the same clear audio and charging capability at home.

“People love the RoadTrip!+ so much they have been asking for a way to enjoy it at home,” said Larry O’Connor, president of NewerTech. “Now they have it, and for only $10. And as an added bonus, you can use it to power other auto 12v powered products too.”

NewerTech has ensured all accessories in the RoadTrip! line allow you to hear your music as though you are listening to your favorite FM station. Frustration with other, more expensive transmitters inspired NewerTech to develop a line that would provide great, reliable sound.
