Fremont, Calif., July 16, 2007 — Accell, a leader of interconnect technology, today announced the release of the UltraAV 4-1 HDMI Switch. Home theater and A/V enthusiasts now have the opportunity to connect up to four HDMI devices to one display. Available for the competitively low price of $149, the UltraAV switch is now the latest innovation in the company’s arsenal of enhanced connectivity products.

Home theater systems that are limited with HDMI inputs now have the option of expanding their capabilities with the addition of the 4-1 HDMI Switch. The UltraAV 4-1 HDMI Switch features a convenient built-in signal booster that supports up to a 65′ HDMI cable run.

“Accell is focused on providing premium home theater products for any budget,” said Tenny Sin, Accell’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Our family of switches concentrates solely on enhanced connectivity, providing customers with the highest level of quality, mirrored with an excellent value and performance.”

The sleek design and compact shape of the latest UltraAV Switch supports HD audio and video transmission up to 1080p and is fully HDMI 1.2 compliant. Supporting HDCP compatible devices, the 4-1 Switch includes an Infrared Extender, permitting the remote control to interact with the switch when it’s not in line-of-sight. Accell’s 4-1 Switch maintains similar prices to entry-level consumer switches yet it provides advanced features and accessibility that is unique in a sea of competitors.
