Gapless Playback: With precise gapless playback, timing is guaranteed to be identical to the source. Gaps or overlaps (crossfading) between successive tracks are minimized. The WiiM prod provides two decoders to remove the extra samples at the beginning and end of each file and combine them. Adaptive EQ: This feature detects the music genre information and other tags included in the audio content and adjusts the frequency profile in real time. The provides a no-fuss way of capturing music detail or making human voices clearer in podcasts without the user having to fiddle with settings manually – although that is an option.
Auto Audio Delay Calibration: When connecting the WiiM Pro to a receiver or powered speaker those components may have different audio path latency due to hardware, software, and DSP processing. To maintain synchronization with those components, the WiiM Pro’s on-device microphone and proprietary algorithm measure audio path latency. The latency value isused to maintain audio synchronization. This is especially practical a in wireless multi-room setup with HomePod, Echo, Google Home, or other WiiM devices.
Voice Control: The WiiM Pro works with Alexa, Google, and Siri via smartphones.
