T.H.E. Enterprises, the owner of America’s longest-running HiFi show (T.H.E. Show) today announced a new collaborative partnership with Audiophile Directory to make it easier for attendees to discover brands, dealers, and products.

Launching in March of 2025, Audiophile Directory (AD) aims to be a centralized resource for hi-fi shoppers. Like Zillow for apartment hunters, Audiophile Directory plans to offer expertly curated information for audiophiles that Google just can’t match.

In celebration of Audiophile Directory’s launch, a $5,000 shopping spree sweepstakes will be awarded to one winner to spend at their local hi-fi shop. The winner will be selected at T.H.E. Show SoCal 2025, at The Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa during June 6-8, 2025.

The “Audiophile Directory”?! I wonder if I will pass muster to gain entrance.

In truth, this is fine with me and hopefully said Directory’s membership will be able to drum up some interest from more women and more younger people but that would also require their endorsement and enthusiasm for affordable equipment that is to say, entry level but it doesn’t level your bank account.

So it is not a directory of Audiophiles? Ooops! I still think it is a good idea and wish them success!

      ORT,

I’m still puzzled by this. Not sure what it’s doing exactly.

        Ian –

I kinda think they’re looking at ways to help folks, both veteran enthusiasts and newcomers to navigate the High End Audio World via their Directory.

I could be wrong but even seasoned enthusiasts enjoy being shown around in the hope they find something new to them. And new folks are like new bees. Eager to buzz the flower fields.

          ORT,

I remember when it first launched that it was a directory of publications and they would automatically publish anything new that went up. Have not looked at it in a few years.
