Hello the house!
My son and I had a most excellent time this very day at the T.H.E. (was that perchance an anaphora de minimus of sorts?!) Show.
It was a pleasure to meet you lads and a great disappointment not to have made the acquaintance of the loverly and gracious Emiko.
Attend me! Attend me all! I am serious in stating that Ian and Company are real people! Yes! They do exist and in truth, are as delightful to meet in the real world as they have been to read in this…this Matrix we call the Ecoustics Interwebs.
I do NOT lie. If I may? A simple truth about dating taught me by my mother decades ago holds fast its legitimacy in less intimate endeavors – One NEVER tells a woman what you think she wants to hear. You tell her what you see and what you see is not just with your eyes but also with your soul and therefor the truth.
Today I saw and met good writers. Good editors. Good photographers. Good reviewers and more. But most of all, I met good people. People that would make wonderful friends.
Mom taught me that it is easier to make an enemy than it is a friend. An enemy takes no effort. No time. No kindness. But a friend?
Takes all that and more. And what they give in return is price less. Memories.
Please pass on my heart felt greetings to the talented Miss Emiko and assure her that I hold her in great regard and of course any others I may not have met and my sorrow at not shaking their hand in what I would hope to be, as Rick would say, “…the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
In all ways and for always, be well my friends. And thank you for your kindness toward my son and I. I really enjoyed meeting and speaking with you all!
Now I really have to resist getting that Monoprice ‘table for a certain family member. As is usual, all typos/errors are mine and the result of taking on mortality and all its foibles. I am neither a professional writer as are the folk at Ecoustics nor am I a brofessional typist, as are the majority of the purveyor’s of pablum out there.
