SVS has announced that its Prime Wireless Pro Powered Speakers and Prime Wireless Pro SoundBase have achieved Roon Tested certification through Roon Labs, adding another way for owners to browse, organize, and listen to their music.

What is Roon Tested?

Being Roon Tested means that Roon immediately discovers the SVS Prime Wireless Pro products and are ready for bit-perfect audio as delivered from Roon. Together, Roon and SVS deliver the power, flexibility, and performance of networked audio, with the easiest setup and highest reliability available.

Artist photos, credits, bios, reviews, lyrics, tour dates, and composers are located automatically, then interconnected by links to build a surfable digital magazine. Roon is also a multi-room, multi-user networked audio platform and offers bit-perfect playback, DSD and PCM upsampling, multichannel support, and signal path display.

Consisting of a stereo pair of speakers, each driver in the SVS Prime Wireless Pro Powered Speaker Pair ($899 at svsound.com) receives 50 watts from a robust 200-watt (50 watts x 4) amplifier. An active digital crossover controls discrete bi-amplification to the 1” aluminum dome tweeters and 5.25” mid-bass drivers, ensuring pristine playback through the frequency spectrum with deep bass, and massive dynamic impact. This results in a much bigger sounding speaker than the cabinet sizes would suggest.
