Every home theater setup needs a great subwoofer, but it doesn’t always have to be the biggest or the most expensive. Throughout the month of September, KEF is running its “Subtember” sale. If you purchase a select KEF subwoofer at the regular price, you get a free kit (model KW-1) that enables you to connect your subwoofer to a home theater receiver wirelessly. The normal price of the KW-1 is $199.99. Eliminate the wire clutter and enjoy the added low end performance and enhanced soundstage that a KEF subwoofer can deliver.
The qualifying KEF subwoofers include the Kube 8b, 10b, 12b, KC62, and the KF92 (a total of five subwoofers to choose from). Let’s take a brief look at what each one offers, and then we will look at the features and specifications of the KW-1 Wireless Subwoofer Kit.
