Hello to every one who can help me give me some advise, please i need your help because i do not know what to do,,my question is this,,i have just bought this behringer dcx 2496 pro and i have these speakers without built in crossovers and i am about to buy a 3 way passive crossovers in all my speaker boxes which i want to use on my mid 12"speaker and my 2"compression drivers and i will use my 18"bass bins without a crossovers,,now i want to know if it will be possible for this dcx 2496 to link these two mid and high frequencies together in a one [DCX 2496]output then through the 3 way passive crossovers and then to my mid and high speakers??my problem is that i want to use one amplifier on my mid and high speakers,,so please kindly i need your help and please reply,,thank you....
To achieve what youre describing, you can configure the DCX 2496 to send a combined signal of mid and high frequencies to a single output, which can then be sent through your passive crossover to split the signal between your mid and high speakers. This setup would allow you to use one amplifier for both sets of speakers, as long as the amplifier can handle the combined load and the passive crossover is designed to handle the full power of the amplifier.
Great topic for discussion! The Behringer DCX 2496 is a powerful tool for sound engineers and musicians. Its tuning and crossover capabilities make it an ideal choice for professionals working with audio systems. I've been using it in my studio for several years now and am very happy with its performance. Anyone else using this processor and what are your impressions?
The Behringer DCX 2496 is really worth its money. The ability to flexibly customise and control the sound is a great advantage when working with different audio systems. I often use it to tune the sound at gigs and always get great results. Does anyone have any tips on how to best set up this unit for different environments?
