Playstation wont work after followed lens cleaning procedure

I cleaned my playstation 2 lens last night and now all i get when I turn it on is the red light stays on...anyone have any help or any info to help someone out...otherwise Im stuck watching reality shows with my fiance....shoot me now...thanks all
