I today hooked my new bravia hdtv to my Ps2 through good old a/v cable(Y,W,R).But whenever i try play a game with progressive scanning the screen completely blacks out.My tv supports progressive as well as all formats upto 1080i.
Kindly help.

You need component cables for progressive scan. Pick up some MadCatz ones (work great) for $10 and you're problems fixed

I just found out the S-video does not give you the p-scan, only component cables do it.
