Nintendo 64 to surround sound

New member Username: Smokey847Post Number: 8 Registered: Apr-05 | I have a theater in my bonus room. I drug out my old Nintendo 64 and wanted to try it in surround sound and on the plasma. So, I hooked it up through the VCR (coaxial cable) The VCR has audio cables coming from it to the surround sound. For some reason, the N64 won't come out the surround sound i have it. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! |

And, for the original poster (if he's still looking around here). Set the receiver to decode the analogue stereo feed with Pro Logic if the game supports it. Other than that, you're stuck with regular stereo. AND, make sure that you are truly providing a stereo feed. Using the coaxial antenna connection to hook your N64 to your VCR and then using the VCR to provide the audio feed to the receiver will result in N64 audio that has been downmixed to monaural. - Reinhart |

I was caught in the middle. Both of them were telling me to do 2 different things, and my gf for 3 years broke up with me. However, I called her back and we both knew that's what we never wanted.
