Currently the best controller is PS (which i even have 1 hooked up to my PC with an adapter) but i did love my old SNES controller ,it was so light & felt comfortable in your hands . SNES con is probably my alltime favorite . |

UNKNOWN TO ME , HE ALREADY BOUGHT A PAIR OF 12" ALPINE TYPE R !!!!!!!!!!! - YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY ! ...only thing is he paid $150 for 1 in a local shop which is about d standard online price if u incl. s/h ...... He already received d 2 pairs of Infinity 6.5 Ref 6010 Comps & my MB Quart RAA1000 Amp - which will be posted down 2 me next 2 wks when he goes back 2 his home in FL . HE ALSO GAVE ME A FREE (DRUM ROLL , PLEASE !) IPOD !!!!!!!!! ........he got it free when he recently bought a Jeep SUV (i 4got d model),he has no use 4 it so i got it now ... Jeep Laredo are nice! BTW, I ordered my amp today!  I decided to go with a MTX MXA4001. It puts out about 500 wrms @ 2ohms benchtested, so it will work fine with the Type R. I had to go with an amp around here because it would cost me about the same thing to get one off e-bay when I consider the shipping charges and brokeage fees. But at least I now have a full warranty with the amp! It should hold me over for a year or so. |

That's a very good deal on that amp, but mine was still cheaper than that one. Mine was about that price, except it was canadian and I didn't have to pay any shipping charges for it. |

Silver Member Username: Young_jamesCanada Post Number: 113 Registered: Sep-05 | I was also talking to a Alpine Dealer around here, and he told me to get the Alpine MRD-M305 (I believe that's what it was) and he said that they sell many of these subs with this amp. He said that it puts out 305 @ 2 ohms, but said that it's underated enough to power the 500wrms sub. I figured that if I went with the MTX, recommended more, than I will have no problem at all. Hopefully it works out for a year or so, than it's on to the bigger and badder. |

The only way that I could think is to mount it upwards in a custom enclosure. I think i'll just stick to 1 type r and when I get more money, I will purchase another one and a bigger amp. I have to spend over $150 month to fly and see my gf. If we lived in the same town (used to but school made us move in a different direction) I would certainly have money for a nice setup. In May tho, we will be living in the same city again, so my money will slowly start to build up again |
