Platinum Member Username: Project6Post Number: 12119 Registered: Dec-03 | Those are Miller & Kreisels. Good stuff! |
Silver Member Username: DavidpaPortland, Oregon US Post Number: 259 Registered: Nov-05 | Miller and Kreisel (M @ K) SS150 THX are the speakers. Tried again on audiogon to get pics posted there, but it just wont work? |
Silver Member Username: DavidpaPortland, Oregon US Post Number: 260 Registered: Nov-05 | Berny, yeah, they are pretty nice, hard to let em go, but the Aerials I upgraded to justify the sell! |
Platinum Member Username: Project6Post Number: 12120 Registered: Dec-03 | You selling the Anthem? |
Silver Member Username: DavidpaPortland, Oregon US Post Number: 261 Registered: Nov-05 | yep, its no longer in use either. Swapped everything to Bryston. Interested? |
Silver Member Username: GamerdudeOntario Canada Post Number: 339 Registered: Apr-06 | Bryston is some very very nice stuff for sure which model 3b, 4b? |
Platinum Member Username: Project6Post Number: 12164 Registered: Dec-03 | I sure am, but i already have too much gear. A friend of mine is interested. Give me a price range. |
Silver Member Username: DavidpaPortland, Oregon US Post Number: 266 Registered: Nov-05 | Kyle, the Brystons I went with are the 14B SST for the L/R, the 7B SST for the Center, and the 6B SST for the surrounds and rear. Must say, although I enjoyed the Anthem, it does not compare to the Brystons, and not just because of the power outputs, although it sure helps! Berny, Im looking to get 1500. Have seen them go on audiogon for 1700, black ones are a little cheaper for whatever reason? Perfect condition as you can see, and also just cleaned inside and out, and bench tested by Freds Sound of Music here in Ptld, Already sold the M @ Ks, which I thought would take longer than the Anthem, but if it dont sell, I can just integrate it into the smaller system downstairs, and give it to the kid in a little over 3 years when he gets out of here! |
Silver Member Username: DavidpaPortland, Oregon US Post Number: 267 Registered: Nov-05 | Berny, I've still got the box too, just not pictured here. |
Silver Member Username: GamerdudeOntario Canada Post Number: 340 Registered: Apr-06 | WOW! dude thats lot's of power and those 14b's are pig's , did you buy them all new??, and what size is your room, My dad has two-4b's and one-3b and it fills his house easy. |
Silver Member Username: DavidpaPortland, Oregon US Post Number: 268 Registered: Nov-05 | 14B, and 7B bought new, the 6B I got for 2900 on audiogon. Yeah, lots of reserve, dynamics are of no issue! Room size is 14 by 22 w/9 foot ceilings. There are some pics, not real good, on a thread in this section under "just about done" if your interested. Dont have the pics of the 7B in there cause it hadnt arrived yet, but the room is like the thread states "just about done", I've still got to get the Plasma hung from ceiling, and get all the wiring completed, but I am real close now. |
Silver Member Username: DavidpaPortland, Oregon US Post Number: 303 Registered: Nov-05 | M @ Ks sold. Anthem MCA50 still available. Bryston 7B SST finally inserted into mix for center channel. Cant get anyone to hang the plasma from the ceiling, 3 installers, no willing party? Guess if its too hard to do, or presents a challenge, people run away. |

Silver Member Username: DavidpaPortland, Oregon US Post Number: 337 Registered: Nov-05 | I'm working on it! Theres some in the "just about done" thread. I've got to get a few more things cleaned up (wires, and new rack, and plasma mounted) Plus, I take terrible photos, trying to get a feel for the room is harder on film than I thought! |
