Friday, April 14, 2006 - 03:33 GMT It really doesn't matter, though 16 gauge works nicely for almost any (normal) speaker application.

Tuesday, April 18, 2006 - 17:04 GMT Good point about speaker wire for a sub when it should just be RCA wire... Don't you think 10 or 12 is a bit much?

Tuesday, April 25, 2006 - 01:13 GMT I just wired my custom built 500w rms home theater sub with 12 ga and it still seemed like overkill. Joe's right though, why chance losing anything in transfer? You paid for the watts, might as well hear them. You really can't oversize, only undersize, so go pro and pay for the extra copper.

Wednesday, May 03, 2006 - 20:37 GMT its the only way to go but if its powered you shouldn't need speaker wire on it anyways but if your tryin to tell me your using an insgnia car sub you should probably just light your system on fire and call your insurance company cuz inginia is brutal i work at future shop and i'm willing to admit it
