Silver Member Username: B101Queen City, NC USA Post Number: 519 Registered: Sep-05 | Okay, sorry for the long wait. Im putting up what pics I have at the moment. This is how everything is right now. I also have pics of my first setup in this car. We can start with that. 12inch Memphis Mclass Subs, They slammed in this sealed box, till the sub poped out the box! I was using it with a Memphis Mclass 500.1 After opening the trunk to a cloud of smoke, after being blowed. I got these: Memphis PRD1000.1/ PR200.2 / Treo TSX 12 subs, in the ported box! It started breaking diffrent parts of my car! Car 105a alternator couldnt keep up with the demand! So I contacted Nathan. Got a 200 HO alternator that does 200 amps at idle in a large case! Alternator is taller & wider than older one! It sounded amazing, but I made a 2nd trip to the dealer, and surprise! 140$ difference... 2 New 15inch Treo TSXs & some 0ga wire, with 200a fuse New 15inch ported box, free Monster Cable for wire! And enough power to push em.. 15" Sub Mounted Sub PRD1000.1 & PR200.2 Ready wired, 1ohm load Trunk open, with no space to even put a gas container! Missing back seat for the last month! Still adjusting Xovers & stuff.. lol You can see my 2nd battery in the middle, its a Titanium. Amps mounted at sides of battery, Everything mounted in front of the subs... Center of dashboard. I need to find a car kit to fit both my HU & EQ! My Engine: 3.8L = 231 Dont sleep, she is quick.... I installed HO alternator in 10mins! 0ga cable showed.. 1000 cranking amp Everstart Maxx battery / walmart special, $50 Big 0Ga / It charges this battery, and my 2nd battery in the trunk! My Ride, still hadnt wash in about 2months... Wide Tires.. The BASS Broke this... More pics BASS can be very Powerfull at times! My back glass is getting ready to pop right off! look at the gasket sealed on the edges! wow Im gettin that fixed next week. I love it when people are looking everywhere to find out where its coming from! They dont expect granny to shake the whole freaking store!!! They also dont expect granny to burn them when they race. lol My tint was so dark, the troopers made me take it off. I will be getting tint again b4 summer. Okay, now I know its not the neatest job, but its for my own car, and I did rush it. lol And you would be mad if I said I did it in 1hr & half. |

I must say, all you need is 1 to beat down the block! Its been a more than ALOT of months for me, and I can still feel the thrill of how painful my car was... but I sold that car last year. My NEW Suburban will run (6) 18s and around 15-20K RMS! Bumpndatrunk, a 200-250 amp alternator will be sufficent for you. I used a 300a in my 93 lesabre limited, but this powered 5K RMS! |
